Shawna Bradfield
Artistic Director Shawna Bradfield's country roots came from Wyoming but she has lived and sang in choirs all across the U.S. She was the president of the B.A.S.I.C. Gospel Fellowship Choral in Laramie, WY while attending college. She moved to the east coast and participated in various community choruses and the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus for 8 years. She was the Music Director for Unity of Jacksonville and lead the chorus there as well. In 2018, she self-produced and published 3 songs in her maiden name, Shawna Hodges.
Her passion is performing with others. She believes there is magic in creating music with others and seeks to sprinkle that magic in whatever she's doing. Shawna resides in Kealakekua with her wife, son, mom, and father-in-law together with 3 dogs, 2 cats and 5 chickens.
Assistant Artistic Director - Binti Bailey
Binti Bailey is a professional Big Island musician and vocalist heavily involved in community events and outreach. She grew up singing in her church and studied flute and piano throughout school. She continued her involvement with music during college performing in various community and collegiate events. Prior to moving to the Big Island in 2010, Binti had been performing with an all female band based in Philadelphia, PA.
Binti teaches vocals and has been involved with the Aloha Theatre as an actress and choreographer and has performed professionally at venues all over Hawaii. Along with assisting the director of the Kona Aloha Singers, she directs the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity choir. In addition to her music career, Binti has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 15 years.
Piano Accompanist - Dale Ross
Dale has played piano as long as she can remember. She is active in the Aloha Theater's musical productions and is the piano accompanist for the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity Church choir. As lifelong residents of the Big Island, both Dale and her husband Ken are retired Kona attorneys and they have three adult children who are pursuing their dreams.
